CALDERA

CALDERA

BY URBI ET ORBI

Caldera by Urbi et Orbi is a cement washbasin designed by Valentino Marengo, shaped with an organic form that echoes the practical Cycladic wash bowls of the Bronze Age.

The design recalls ancient vessels often supported by three legs, giving Caldera a handcrafted, archaeological character.

Its name comes from the Greek word for the large hollow formed after a volcanic eruption, like the famous Santorini Caldera, evoking depth, origin, and a connection to elemental forces.
